The master bedroom is located in the original log cabin
which was built in 1840.
 |
|

Above the main bedroom, the cozy loft offers two single
beds and a lovely view of the fireplace in the living
room.

|
 |
|

The beautifully decorated Fredericksburg style covered
dog-trot connects the log cabin with the new addition.

|
|

Sit awhile in the comfortable living room and let the
country stillness soothe your soul.

No detail has been overlooked in creating a relaxing,
country retreat - from the fascinating antiques and
handmade quilts to the modern kitchen and bath with
skylight. This wonderful hideaway is located on a
200-acre working ranch near the famous LBJ Ranch.
The Spring Log Haus is completely furnished with
dishwasher, microwave, range/oven, refrigerator and all
utensils, so you can prepare your own meals with ease.
There is a charcoal grill and grilling tools available
for your use. Of course, your stay includes a
continental breakfast of homemade breads and jellies,
cereal, fruits, coffee, milk and juices to
enjoy in our light and airy breakfast atrium.
As you swing away your cares under the old oak or sit
on
the spacious deck, you will be surrounded by the
beauty and the tranquility of the Texas Hill Country.
Cows, graze contentedly, and wildlife, including deer,
turkey, rabbits, and squirrels, visit regularly.
Nearby lies Stonewall where the LBJ Ranch State Park, and
boyhood home of the late President, are located. Only 13
miles away is historic Fredericksburg where you will
find attractions like the Nimitz Museum,
Pioneer Museum, Market Square, countless antique shops
and wonderful restaurants, and the Enchanted Rock only a
few miles away.
Plan to stay several days, there is a lot to see and do
in Fredericksburg or just enjoy the peace and quiet of
the Hill Country. |

|

The bay window in the dining area is superb for watching
deer while you enjoy a delicious breakfast of fresh
breads, fruits, coffee and cereals.
 |
|

The comfy living room with the wood fireplace
invites you to linger around a crackling fire on a winter's
evening.

Swing your cares away.
